Jasper
Johns, Target with Plaster Casts (ULAE 208),
is a color Target image that was created published by Petersburg
Press in 1979 and printed by Aldo Crommelynk, a Master Printer
who also worked with Pablo Picasso during his last ten years.
This important Jasper Johns Intaglio features
an iconic Target in Blue and Yellow on a Red Square with nine
printed colored blocks under nine images of blocks of wood
in hues of rich colors.
In pristine condition, this rare impression has been carefully
stored for the last 3 decades so it has never been framed,
hinged, or matted.
Seldom seen in this extraordinary condition, this Jasper
Johns Target with Plaster Casts
is unusually fresh and without defects; a rare impression
for the discriminating Collector or Museum. |
