New York State Sales Tax
Sales Tax is due and collected for all Works of Art shipped and/or delivered within the State of New York. New York State Law requires that we charge Sales Tax on the full amount due, including shipping and handling; by Law these charges must be included when Sales Tax is calculated.
All Works of Art are only dispatched upon receipt of cleared funds payment in full.
All Works are Professionally Packed and the respective Tracking Number is e-mailed at dispatch. We request that all purchases include a phone number for the Airway Bill.
In the unlikely event of damage, loss or no-delivery, all Works of Art sold are fully covered by transit insurance, door to door, from dispatch to delivery. Once the Work of Art has been delivered and signed for, the Work of Art is no longer insured by Joseph K. Levene Fine Art, Ltd., and is therefore, the sole responsibility of the purchaser. All Works of Art must be inspected thoroughly upon arrival as the purchaser is liable for any damage(s) after signing for the delivery. If the Work of Art is damaged in transit, the purchaser must contact Joseph K. Levene Fine Art, Ltd., by telephone within 24 hours of signature, proof of delivery. If the purchaser fails to notify Joseph K. Levene Fine Art, Ltd., by telephone within 24 hours of receipt, all sales are final.
The copyrights of all Works of Art belongs to the respective Artist or Estate.
